There are a number of different styles of connectors used with the USB interface. The most common are either the type 'A' or 'B' connector in either the female or male configuration. There is also a mini-USB and a Micro-USB connector.

The electrical interface remains the same regardless of the change in its physical interface, USB, mini, or micro connectors.
